Rooms that tell stories
Here at Agriturismo Alveare every room is a little world apart where minimal, rustic furnishings showcase the beauty of natural materials – Finale stone, chestnut wood, slate – and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We have three double rooms, each one with its own character.
TERRA
Where raw stone enters the room and the pergola accompanies summer nights.
FUOCO
The grandparents’ room, brought back to life through natural colors and details that preserve the passing of time.
ARIA
Dark wooden beams, chestnut wood and a terrace open to the Ligurian sky.
Terra
Located on the ground floor with independent access directly from the courtyard, Terra is the room most deeply rooted in its surroundings.
Its defining feature is a large wall of exposed Finale stone emerging naturally from the room like a sculpture. The floor, finished with tiles reminiscent of traditional antique cement tiles, the dark wooden beams above the bed, and the green glass-paneled entrance door create an atmosphere that feels both authentic and intimate.
The French bed features a headboard carved from a single piece of olive wood. Above it, a shelf displays intertwined rings made from vine branches pruned by Giulia herself: a small handcrafted detail that reflects the care behind every choice.
Outside, a private area beneath the pergola with two lounge chairs awaits you for summer evenings, accompanied by the sound of frogs and the light of the stars.
Fuoco
Fuoco was once Giulia’s grandparents’ bedroom, while the bathroom used to be her mother’s childhood room.
Bringing these spaces back to life holds a deeply emotional value for her, something that can be felt in every detail. The walls have been painted using natural earth pigments and watercolor paints chosen for their healthy, breathable qualities: warm tones that fill the room with a soft and enveloping light.
The restored bed features a headboard made from the panel of an old wooden door, an authentic element that still carries the marks of time.
Beside it, an antique glazed ceramic stove quietly watches over the corner of the room: beautiful to look at, precious like a memory preserved through time.
Thanks to the large south-facing window and the bathroom window, Fuoco enjoys abundant natural light and air conditioning for warmer nights.
Aria
Aria is the room of long breaths and slow rhythms. The exposed dark wooden beams and ceiling fan define a room with a rustic yet airy character; warm and welcoming, yet never heavy or enclosed.
The headboard made of chestnut wood planks, almost reminiscent of a small forest, together with the exposed Finale stone wall, brings the true nature of Liguria indoors.
The floor patterns inspired by traditional antique cement tiles and the light filtering through the French door complete an atmosphere that feels intimate and uncluttered. In the morning, simply opening the shutters already feels like an act of well-being: the view outside brings an immediate sense of peace.
The French door opens onto a private terrace: the perfect place to read, slow down or enjoy the quietness of summer evenings. Aria can also accommodate a third guest and is equipped with air conditioning.
